I looked for the thread of the same name from 2010 but couldn't find it.

Same deal as that thread, all nominations can go in here.

Scott prince is the obvious stand out performer so far in 2012, but special mention to josh reynolds for his effort against the Warriors.

He is worthy of a mention alongside Scotty "Sniper" Prince.

Without knowing who this Louganis bloke is I can only assume by Prince's nomination that it is for diving in which case Prince deserves the gold medal.

Silver for Farah, bronze is a tough one that can be fought out between the likes of Luke, Lockyer, Bowen and Hayne. I'm sure there are many other worthy nominees I'm forgetting.

What team is he playing for in 2012?

Yes you're right, his award-winning days are gone.

Perhaps there can be a special award for the most dramatic dive of the season named in his honour: The Lockyer Spread-Eagle Award.

Prince is probably leading that one as well at this stage, but there's still plenty of room for improvement to meet the standard.

Not nearly as much as Payne the week before

There was one I think it was this round where the player was going to get up but his team mate was telling him to stay down , cant remember what game it was though

It seriously looks like he is getting anal probed every tackle with the look he puts on.

So with Prince as a short favourite atm we have Luke, Hayne, Bird, Graham, Sandow and Ennis chasing after him.

Maybe a rookie will step up this year or perhaps a seasoned veteran that isn't part of the usual suspects
