Putting the moronic name calling aside, Grothe is a rocks and diamonds player but I'll tell you what, I'd rather have a player that makes mistakes but can blow a game wide open than someone that is 'solid' any day.

I'm yet to see Grothe's metre count but I'm sure he made plenty.

I have been one of Eric Grothe`s biggest knockers (and I don`t apologise for that), but I agree with you. I feel really sorry for him tonight; because the mistake he made led to a try and looked worse than it might have been. It would have shattered his confidence. In his one hundredth game, too. With all eyes on him (including mine). I hope he can put this game behind him. He scored a nice try off that beautiful inside pass from Ben Smith (what a game he had!)
