Denmark up at halftime! GET IN! They've always been an under-rated, quiet achieving nation...

Huntelaar surely HAS to come on for the second half!

Well deserved win there! The dutch were complete toothless tigers tonight, there was more attack from Denmark. If there scoreboard wasn't there, you would never have guessed the dutch were losing, the way they were playing. Heartless...

So the table is now looking pretty much the opposite to what most of us would have expected so far....

Portugal should be a man down. Disgraceful challenge there by Postiga... (13th minute)

That was a great header....

I really do hope those that were talking Portugal up pre-tournament come out and explain what they see at some point, because I'm definitely not seeing it....

Portugals defense and Germanys attack are average at best at the moment.

Portugals defence hasn't been too bad most of the night. Our defence is usually our strength. It's our sub par attack and lack of an out and out striker that frustrates the hell out of me.

With Nani and Ronaldo down each wing and a midfield that can create a bit when they are on song there is no reason why we should struggle to score so often even against minnows at times.

The day Portugal decide to play a Brazilian style of attacking game is the day they'll taste true success. Their negative defensive structure is rubbish and once behind they don't have the firepower to reel back a draw. Too often they play stagnant and their fans will continue to suffer. Open their game up and see results go their way against bigger opponents.

Can't disagree with any of that. There is so much talent in that team. We should be challenging for titles not making up numbers.

Just once I'd like to see us take it to the top teams instead of sitting back and waiting to catch teams on the counter.

Lol @ that dumb merkin from goal.com who labeled Gomez & other FCB players gutless and shouldn't play EM12 ahead of these Dortmunder.

Anyway f**k Portuknall. Ronaldo getting owned by Germans, again

LOL @ Ronaldo. How he can even be compared to Messi when he goes continually missing in big games is beyond me. When was the last time he even scored against decent opposition at a major tournament?

LOL also @ Wenger. What a great signing Podolski will be

And what is it with teams this season who dominate and yet are so wasteful in the final 3rd? First Barca and Bayern against Chelsea, and now the Dutch (at least Denmark tried to play some attacking football unlike Chelsea :D)

Don't know how you can say Portugal is rubbish, they only lost by 1 goal. They have great talent all over the park, it's just there's no chemistry between them as a team.

That's very true, much like the problem Real Madrid had for many years plus, no out and out striker as MSH said....

Second of all, the use of the word 'again' would suggest to me that you should have seen it coming...

Does anyone think this group could all be wrapped up come Wednesday night/Thursday morning?

If Denmark beat Portugal (likely; they beat them in qualification) and Germany beat Holland (possible), this group's all over.
