I'm going to buy a new acoustic steel string,
my old one snapped in half, and was classical, and my mate suggested a steel string, so i'm going to get one, however its just for fun so i dont want a serious guitar, just something around the 150 mark, any advice would be appreciated.

might find an ashton for about that... as far as low grade guitars go, ashton are right up there. or you could ad a zero to the amount you want to spend and by a maton

if you're coming from a classical, i'd be more worried about your bandaid supply.. prepare the pinky and ring for some serious havoc. so if you're spending 150, factor in the medical supplies.

But you'll get use to it.

Ashton is probably your best bet.

Although I've always maintained that Ashton's accoustics are a much higher quality than their electrics. But I'm not too sure how well a $150 guitar would be.

In other news, I may be picking up a Mesa Triple Rectifier soon :D
