You'd have to assume so.. I heard words of him going to ESL?

After a year out injured I can't see him getting an upgrade to an ESL spot. He will likely be stuck with another one year deal in some NRL club's second tier.

you'd have to think Gutho and French would be not wasted but not as effective on the wing.

To bring in Sam Williams you'd displace multiple players would have performed sensationally in the blue and gold.

Whats the point? i would rather spend 2017 using Normo, Gutho and French in the spine and see what we got. Use robbo as an insurance policy i.e Gary Larson in the 2000 season.

I must be missing something but I can't see any mention of parra in that article.

After last nights game I think we're better off comitting to Norman and gutherson as our first choice halves pairing and look to sign a quality hooker and an outside back.

We look to be reasonably well served in all other positions.

Former Catalans halfback Sam Williams has been linked with a move to Wakefield for 2017.

Williams is off-contract at Canberra at the end of this season and according to Rugby League Week, Trinity are interested in signing the scrum-half.

Williams rejoined the Raiders in 2015 after a brief stint in Perpignan in 2014.

The 25-year old has largely been in the NSW Cup this season behind halves Blake Austin and Aidan Sezer.

Williams was a Junior Kangaroo in 2010 and has also played for St George Illawarra.
