Gutless Cowards

. .. while balancing a piping hot coffee in between your legs on the seat, approaching a dodecahedron shaped roundabout, as the phone rings and you simply HAVE TO take the call.
That's what it's like to support the WT.
Trying to slide little fingers in the crevice and you slowly raise him, up he comes, then just as he reaches the top, he falls back and into an even more difficult position....repeat several times until you get into a mania about it. But you keep trying anyway.

Told to work from home tomorrow due to co vid.

Come to work “at our own risk” lol.

Not sure if @stryker can do the same with his employees.

If we get co-vid, it’s our fault, the company is covered.

Capitalism and the market economy is so caring!

However, we get paid full freight, even if we bludge out on lu all day....so not a bad deal.

Honestly this was worse than the Cowboys game last season. The Melbourne game from 2021 which started this thread also wasn’t as bad. I don’t think I can think of a more spineless performance. Maybe 39-0 vs the Bulldogs in 2021.

That roosters match was special too.

But tonight was catastrophic.

I think Benjis a marked man. Everyone is playing worse.

He can’t spin his way out of this one.

JL will want out of his contract soon.

Mate Benji will stick to the plan and will keep replacing players until the plan works. It's why we've been stuffed for years, too much chopping and changing of the processes and coaches that noone know what the..is going on.
Take the storm for example, they don't change the system and everyone buys in.

I feel blue baggers.
You seem to have a soft spot for the tigers.
Who is your team and if your team's not in contention, who do you cheer on come September?
I thought Benji had a soft spot for the tigers.

Seems every player has gone backwards under his tenure without exception.

We knew he would struggle, but….

Benji wasn't my choice for coach but I still had hopes for the man.

I think Flanno was your choice Silverdale. It's now clear he would have been a better option.

Benji has learnt from the great Madge to talk about how the team is improving and heading in the right direction.

The problem is the other teams that we thought we might have been a chance of beating for the last couple of years have improved and headed in the right direction on the ladder.

I thought Benji's presser was very measured. He was composed and didn't mollycoddle the players. The process stays and the players may have to change or go...simple.
This approach by benji will stop hanging onto players for years that don't get the job done regardless of reputation..like Brooks.
The dogs stayed firm and their players were like a revolving door, coming and going. Now they appear settle. We have to do the same.
We didn't do that in the past by continually sacking coaches and not players. Stick to the process because that's what 'club culture' means.

The dogs recruited players with a reasonable rugby league IQ who give a FK & have a coach who cut his teeth in an exemplary system. We have a squad of lemons coached by a delusional greenhorn. There just aren’t the players on the mkt we desperately need to become competitive in the short/medium term & what exacerbates our probs is powerful clubs like the rorters who r cashed up & eager for quality haven’t been able to entice quality players recently

Ted I agree with what your saying. I'm pointing out that the dogs have let a few go and got others that meet the STD set...they don't change the std, culture just those who can't fit in.

Bulldogs got rid off the whole 30 man squad over 3 years
