Ponting claims a victory, saying Vettori has apologised. What a dick Ponting is. Shut up Rick, yer supposed to be having a wee rest. Go and have a lie down on the couch mate & watch the daytime soaps, don't behave like a child. Is this guy for real???? The pair exchanged text messages: now Pontings the spokesman for everything. "Look everyone, we won in the end". F*ck this is immature. Can Haddin speak for himself or does Ponting have to come running & do his talking for him? He may be a superb batsman but he's got major short-man syndrome. I just can't believe how pitiful Haddin & Ponting have been throughout this entire saga.

for once I agree with you

Punter should shut up

Harry Potter didn't really have to apologize, should have just left it at that

lol and all these happened before all of their "decisions"

but shhhhh

EDIT

So now we should be aplogising because an umpire gave Bracken out lbw....unbelievable; even the commentators were saying it looked plum initially. I'm going to call you a EDIT in every post where I respond to something you've said. EDIT.

Despite the fact that all the evidence clearly shows Haddin was in the wrong, he has still not admitted it, or apologised for it. At the very least he could have said something like - "yeah, that was pretty ordinary but at the time I was sure it hit the stumps, I can see now I was wrong". Instead he has continued to deny the obvious. And gotten all indignant about it - or is that Ponting's work (I get the impression that Haddin and Vettori were happy to let it rest but Ponting re-escalated it). Ponting is clearly a simple fellow who sees the world in black and white, and us v them terms.

If Ponting were a proper leader, he wouldn't have tried to defend the indefensible, but should have told Haddin to be contrite about his actions. If Cricket Australia had some leadership, they'd have told both of them to pull their heads in, admit the error and get on with life.

Wow, you don't think much of your cricket team do you Mel?

Sometimes they can do incredible things, but for the most part, they are just pretty average.

A battle hardened Australian team losing to them is really pretty embarrassing.
