All this should ensure the Eels recieve a warm
reception at Energy Aus Stdm in Round one.

I wonder what that bloke that ran on the field
last year thinks of all this?

Hope hes there again.

Would you care to explain how with an unfit Johns you went something like 0-6 or 0-7 this year before he got injured, then when he was injured couldn't win a game, but when he came back practically won every game thereafter?

Johns=Newcastle.

We were missing a lot more players then Johns..... Buderus, Simpson, Kurt Gidley, Perry, Matt Gidley, Seage and Newton

In 2004 we had a few injuries but had the likes of Simpson, Buderus, Kennedy, Gidleys etc... Therefore we just missed out on the 8

In 2005 we had those unavailable and were forced to field reserve graders to compete against 1st graders...

Quigley - Dummy half
Witt/Campbell (Debut) -Half
Hughes - Fullback
Tighe - Centre (Debut)
Smith - Prop (Hasnt played League in a while)
Lowrie/Tanner - 2nd Row
Mullen(Debut) - 5/8

Yes... Johns is the heart and soul of our club and we struggle to compete without him... but when its JUST him missing, we can still compete eg 2004

Concentrate on life without Stacey mate.... and avoiding that spoon

Again with the Johns crap. Please remind me again which team can be successful without their playmaker and best player? Oh that's right, none of them. Look how well the Broncos go without Lockyer, or how the Rooters did this year without Fittler to carry the team.

Whilst we're no hope without Johns, neither is your team without your star. A better example of the idiocy on this forum, you will not see.

Oh, so now we change the statement "When Johns isn't there, Newcastle can't win" to "When Johns is less than 100% fit Newcastle can't win." It's funny people think that way, because the facts tell a different story. A much different story, it turns out, than the Roosters without Fittler or the Broncos without Lockyer, for instance.
