Who will be our half next year?

Do you think any of our current crop could make it?

Firman, McCrone, Bond, Williams, Caldwell or Trindall?

Does any one know if any ESL players are off contract for example Deacon, Long etc?

I would say him, or in time Caldwell will be our #7. Lets see how Firman goes tonight (albeit in the 6).

Trindall is the best player in that lot.

He is awesome when on song, shame about his behaviour.

Mid 2004

6. Luke Dorn
7. Brett Finch

or something like that.

Mid 2002, Sam Obst & Albert Talipeau.

Sean Rudder & Kurt Gidley was a shocker too.

It definitely wont be Trindall he is not first grade quality.

We need to try the Firman - Williams combination between now and the end of the season. We need to see what they can do because if they dont gel together and or Firman doesnt perform then get rid of him.

Firman hasn't impressed me and was ordinary at 5/8th last night. Trindall is solid, but is a bit slow and cumbersome for a half back. Caldwell didn't do much in Flegg last night. He looks like he might be down on fitness. Nathan Pill looks like he has the most potential of our current crop.

I hear good things about McCrone and Wade Graham, but haven't seen them in action, so can't comment.

Wade Graham is easily the most talented half we have produced in a long time. The kid has alot of leadership skills also, lead NSW and last years premiership winning Harold Matthews teams. He is Penrith's answer to Mullen and Carney IMO.

On the Flegg game yesterday Fibro, how good was Sam McKendry, everytime i see him play he is getting better, our answer to Fui Fui Moi Moi i think.

Big Sam is sensational. He is a real entertainer. Like a raging bull at a gate. He should be fast tracked to FG. He has the size already and has plenty of mungrel. I was also impressed with the backrow of Paulo and Blackett.

I also love the way he makes 2-3 hit-ups every set. He cant get anough of it, loves his footy. Must be only 17 also.

I think next year Firman will be our 7 and Williams our 6, but at some stage next year I would really like to see Graham have a crack, just to see if he can cut it.

I think the half for next year should be tricky Trindall i was going to go with Firman but his game against brissy was disgraceful. The 5/8 spot will be hard to choose with Williams,Firman and Bob Blair thier it wil be a hard dicision
