He's solid, but is unable to put a player into space and kicks like my Mum.

FAAAAAAARK ME GUYS AND GALS!!! Take a freakin Valium pill and chill out will you, if you haven't noticed, our first choice halfback is now playing for Melbourne and our best haflback has a freakin broken jaw, cut Robson some slack. Fair enough he might not be as good as the others but the fact remains, he was our halfback tonight and the least we could do is get behind him and show him that WE THE SUPPORTERS are freaking supporters. As far as I'm aware, we were supposed to get flogged tonight, so much so that some bloke lost 35k for betting on a Souths win.

What sort of pressure are you going to put on Mortimer if he doesn't succeed, you guys are probably the very reason DA is keeping him out of the team, he doesn't need no hope Parra supporters chucking hissy fits when they don't perform.

I saw a team tonight play at a standard well above my expectations, and for that I had a great night and well done Parra!

GO PARRA!

He's not a first grader so it's a waste of time continuing to use him.
time to give Mortimer a shot with Matt Keating alternating with him .

I think people are expecting a little to much from this bloke...

he is a worse than average player, and people should not expect much more than that out of him, A solid performer at best.

Having said this i have never once doubted his commitment and desire out there in any of the games he's played. Quite a good little defender aswell.

If people are thinking that Mortimer is head and shoulders above this guy they might just be disappointed!

6)Mortimer
7)Robson

with both MK and KK to share the load in attack

i wouldnt actually mind playing kingston at 7 or 6 with robson or reddy. he has played in the halves before and a bit last year.

He tried hard and his defence was ok, but thats about all i can say about him. He makes Jeremy Smith look like a star.

he played the way I expected him to play = average

Actually, he played his worst game for us last night. He`s better than that. This thread is really quite sickening. Parramatta played their arses off last night. Most courageous game they`ve played all year. Without their captain, without their star half-back and without their star five-eight. And they draw. They were the better team on the night. And all you guys can do is focus on the fact that their half-back last night wasn`t great. You`re not supporters, you`re just critics. You shouldn`t be called Parra supporters, you should be called the 'Parramatta Armchair Critics Club'. It`s a f**kin` sorry joke.

Yeah a poor game by Robson. He just doesn't seem to keep up with the pace of first grade rugby league. His kicking game was poor, both short and long range and made a complete meal of several last tackle options. I'm not gonna bag the bloke, it's not his fault he's not a first grade quality halfback, but we need someone else in the number 7 jumper.

I agree with this. Can't blame him for the fact he is not up to 1st grade standard. He is doing his best.

But it still staggers me how Hages saw this guy play and thought he would be worth buying?? He didn't impress last year either so Hages saw something - not sure what.

It was the handful of first grade games that he'd amassed over the course of his career that did it for Hagan...

uhhhhhhh - this guy looks ok.... uhhhhhhhh

Or perhaps

"well - he's close to where he wants to be"
