Not sure. Does risk override reason?

Wouldn't surprise me if they did a Corey Allen with him, give him a year to absolutely 100% recover, with a promise of re-signing if he has to the satisfaction of everyone.
It would be a complete disaster if something wasn't right and, worse case scenario applied.
Better to err on the side of caution imo.

Duty of care, if it was me I wouldn’t let him until he had as said above a year off.

Not back to full training
Not 100%
Not doing cardio

Fair enough, my comment was based on this article in the Daily Telegraph dated 2-11-2024 which states "Sele has been cleared to resume training in the past month and has been doing his own sessions. He will join the rest of his St George Illawarra teammates when pre-season resumes later this month and will be able to do full contract."

If I gave incorrect information I apologise.

My understanding is that it was an infection. One from which he has fully recovered. And his current training regime is erring completely on the side of caution. We’re not privy to the whole story there but I’m sure someone is.

There was an interview with Hame on the John Stanley night show last week.
For those living outside of Sydney, Stanley is a Dragon's tragic, and although his show talks mainly about news and current affairs etc, anytime there is a chance to mention the Dragons, Stanley will take it.
Cutting to the chase, Hame sounded fairly confident he will be good to go for the start of season 2025, pending clearance of any medical protocols.

Stanley seams to talk more about GWS these days.
