Back to full training I think if not he is very close to being back maybe after Xmas. Received a medical clearance to do so.

Not sure. Does risk override reason?

Wouldn't surprise me if they did a Corey Allen with him, give him a year to absolutely 100% recover, with a promise of re-signing if he has to the satisfaction of everyone.
It would be a complete disaster if something wasn't right and, worse case scenario applied.
Better to err on the side of caution imo.
