Yep. Know nothing.

First off surely you know the PMs XIII isn't a test jersey. If you want to count that as playing for Australia you can count the Residents side as playing for NSW.

And Australia's opposition are so weak that Australia has lost more series in the last seven years than Queensland has.

As for jerseys just being given out...Jamie Buhrer.

No it isn't for Christ's sake! There's 34 spots in Origin, 17 in Australia, how is playing Origin a greater reflection of ability then being picked for the best squad in the country? Would you like me to list a bunch of nuffies who have played Origin?

FYI a ton of English and Kiwi forwards would waltz into Origin. To class any number of former internationals in the top echelon of their position RIGHT NOW would also be laughable, when they were selected though, not so much.

Now which backrower would you rather sign? Gareth Hock or Jamie Buhrer?

Can you define a ton?

Glad to hear you're enthusiastic MJC - the future's looking great imo with a Footy CEO appointed (first since the debacle that was Osborne), and a head coach on board with more promise than any we've had for a while (but that still seems a touchy subject).

Sorry to hear that there are some non-footy issues, and hope that situation looks up for you soon. And also sorry that the things on here you say that exasperate you seem to be causing you to mirror those same behaviours (of blaming or taking to task other forummers for their differing opinions) of late. Take it from me it's a slippery road being involved in combative discussions on here, and there's little reward in thinking that through you can convince others of the worth of your opinion, however well meaning the intention.

As is often said the club's fans are a broad church, and anyone feeling exasperated because the internet fans don't all share the "right" or same opinion is possibly directing their passion and energy for the club down one of the lesser productive paths?

Thanks for posting your travel snap in this thread Suity. Was that one from a trip to Brazil? :sarcasm:

Definition of an agenda? Quoting posts from other threads, by people not involved in the current discussion, to prove some obscure petty point to the attempted detriment of another on the forum, for reasons known only to oneself (and whichever acolytes that can be enlisted to the same agenda).

Such agenda-driven, cross-threaded, trolling posts could reasonably be seen as an attempt to have the "last word", even while hypocritically claiming that behaviour to be something only others would indulge in.

Moved on have we Suity?

Again, your actions speak louder than (your own) words.

Buhrer is quality. That's why he got picked in Origin.

Hock is 29 and spent his entire career in the ESL. He's a nuffy. English international? I'll take an Origin player any day.

:sleeper: Why do you care so much Suity? I could ask you the same question about why you keep trying to have "the last post" and despite your assurance haven't truly "moved on".

For me it's not a control issue - it's an amusement one. Your precious forum "credibility" is eroding with each of your troll posts Suity (mine's already gone!).

And is that post of 81236 you've taken to using in multiple threads part of your new signature? Or have you moved on....

I just don't get a post like this. :? The irony is crushing.

Suity

Your man love for the poo is even more crushing.

Get your BF in line, so there is no need for posts like mine.

Bartman made a post in another thread, go chase him around the forums, and don't worry about me.

Have a good day.

Poupou saying that Wigan don't want Hock is showing naivety and a complete lack of understanding of the European Sporting Landscape.

Thanks for the response Noise. Maybe would have been easier to actually state that you heard from a player agent in your original post - I think I did when I posted about my conversation with Nolan and it gives more credence to your post and no one then looks for a link or any other support.

Regardless, can you find out for me why Lussick, Kelly, Mullaney and Harrison signed and why Izzy has been talking to Parra for 18 months about coming here after he finished his sojourn in AFL? Oh and maybe you can also find out why Sandow and Tonga came here 12 months ago as well.

In no particular order, I would suggest the decisions of T Williams, Hinchcliffe and Lewis were down to a combination of:
- $$
- mates
- location
- Preferred Coach (in the case of Williams and Hinchcliffe)
- Debacle that was Parramatta at the time

That's just my opinion and I have no source to support it.

Kelly - stuck behind Cronk, Whiddop, Kostjayson.....
Lussick - unproven, Manly still had Kite, Galavou, Watmough etc.
Harrison - see above
Mullaney - see Kelly

They probably all got nice little upgrades too, which helps. Apart from Lussick, the above are depth signings who you hope can kick on!

The recruitment of Sandow and Tonga was completely different, the team seemed to improve in the back half of 11 and we were close in a fair few games, if you were a off contract player you could probably be forgiven for thinking you could improve the team.

12 months on and I think it was clear for all to see that unfortunately the coach wasn't up to it and he was struggling to attract anything for next year........

You are right that he was not the only factor, but the fact he is no longer here and the club seems to be moving forward quite well maybe suggests he was a major contributing factor?

If Izzy has been talking to us for 18 months and only just is signing now, you could argue he was waiting for a different coach, seeing as we are all just making shit up........
