The Revenge of the Sith was ok...other two were rubbish...I'd still go see a new installment should one come out, but I think it would be better if set either between the two trilogies or sometime after Return of the Jedi...

Bazal, im sorta freidns with Star Wars nerds, they tell me it will be after sequels to Jedi or prequels to Phantom Menace. No chance of inbetween.

HAHAHA!

Luke and Leia full on pash in that story....it'd be a tad awkward considering what we already know from the Saga so far!

George Lucas is set to make a "huge" announcement today, with rumours suggesting the director will announce plans for a new Star Wars film.

Pffffft. Obviously something to do with the Indy 4 maybe?

I think it's best left alone at this point. If they make this movie set before the prequels doesn't that mean it'll be 7 episodes? Make the live action TV series abot Knights of The Old Republic or something to tie sh*t up bt not a feature film!

And for the record

1. Empire
2. Sith
3. New Hope
4. Jedi
5. Clones
6. Menace

Obviously theyre not that big of nerds....

The TV series is gonna be set between the two trilogies - and it will cover how the Empire came to such prominance and dominance over the galaxy, and also how the Rebel Alliance formed and what not.
Plus im pretty sure Matthew Newton had been signed on to be the main character. He was in the running to be Anakin before Lucas finally went with Christiansen

Lucas did hint, at Celebration IV, that he is considering doing a trilogy of movies pre Menace. I think it is meant to deal with the whole Jedi v Sith thingy when the sith were alot more plentiful.

If he were to make another trilogy, i would much prefer it to be pre-menace.

He would have so much more to work wirth Imo and wouldnt be held back by existing Star Wars characters, he would have an open slather. It would be awesome to see more Jedi v Sith battles.

Matthew Newton huh? Would have been interesting to have seen him instead of christiansen. However I still recoil when I think of him as Armand in queen of the Damned.

Personally, I think Shadows Of The Empire (a book based between the events of Empire and Jedi) would have made for a good movie.

There was a whole big multimedia campaign for Shadow.

It was originally a book that explained the goings on between Empire and Jedi.
ie Leia steals the info on the new Death Star, Prince Xisor tries to turn the Emporer against Vader and vice versa, why R2 and 3PO are going to Jabbas, how Lando and Leia get the disguises, and so on...

But there was a whole heap of toys (Chewie had a disguise, basically an eyepatch & mullet!) the Nintendo 64 game, and several comics.

I watched the orginal 3 movies whilst growing up.

The new movies have totally ruined this series.

I note that George Lucas only directed the Episode 4 (original) and Phantom Menace films.

I think any new movies would be good as long as he had nothing to do with them

He directed the prequels and new hope.

Empire owns all thanks to the screenplay written by the great Lawrence Kasdan!

Yep - Empire was the best one

It would seem that the relationship between George Lucas involvement and film quality is inversely proportional

Im a big Star Wars fan, saw the premiere of the 3rd (6th to some people) episode Revenge of the Sith at midnight on a school night :D

A lot of people say episode 1 and 2 suck, and to some point I agree, but I still love the series in its entirety.

Something with Grand Admiral Thrawn would be sweet.

The coolest Star Wars game ever had to be Tie Fighter. Awesome intrigue within the Imperial ranks, Vader being a badass.

"The rebels are unprepared for our attack. Signal Vice Admiral Thrawn to launch his Tie squadrons immediately."

Haha... *splooge*

Order of best to worst in my opinion

1st Empire Strike Back (one of my favourite movies, an absolute classic)
2nd A New Hope (another absolute classic movie not far behind)
3rd Return of the Jedi (a fair way back from the other 2, but still a great movie)
4th Revenge of the Sith (decent, had its moments)
5th Phantom Menace (passable at best, and thats being very kind. I guess my addiction to the pod racer N64 game helped it a bit)
6th Attack of the Clones (watched an hour, nearly fell asleep, don't remember anything from then on)
