Saints went down 4 -3 but kept the more fancied Glebe tryless.
So nothing has changed. Their defence is still good.

'A beer of full body and robust bitterness with a fiery amber hue - just the stuff for dragon slaying! The palate is crisp and tangy, leading to a long dry 'digestive biscuit' finish with hints of orange and blackcurrant.''A beer of full body and robust bitterness with a fiery amber hue - just the stuff for dragon slaying! Many happy returns Olga; I wish you a memorable day! It's my wife's birthday today and she's not impressed that she has to share the celebrations with St George. She says she puts up with me dedicating too much of my attention to St George each day of the year let alone on hers birthday.
You are all invited to also wish Olga happy birthday!
We have been known as "Saints" since 1921 - this is from the match reports of the time. The team was also known as the "Dragon Slayers" in the media - that seemed to go away with time and was perhaps shortened to "Dragons". But the team has always been first and foremost known as the "Saints".From the very early sixties St. George were known as the "Saints". When & why did we become the Dragons?
That's a pretty cheap birthday present possm. You are all invited to also wish Olga happy birthday!

"St George Dragons" really only became a 'brand name' in the 1970s-1980s when the the game became more corporate-based. In the same way, the club also has the name "Red V" trademarked or registered
