OK so Zach Clay plays Centre/2cd Row for Ashton :)
Jakiel, Bryce Cartwright and Alan Nuilesa were all asked to go from Academy from Penrith all declining because they would all be there next year. Jakile never wanted to go to Penrith this year.
Micro personally, I think it will be Tai, Antonelli, Regan and for a possible 4th person Wilson or Hetrick.
I dont really know much about the bulldogs tbh, but there on fire. Penrith look they have some structure and are winning so maybe. But seriously Penrith do not have a specialist halfback in the squad this year, therefore something was wrong from the start

That isnt correct. Jim Jones refused George Zhara's request to bring him across into the Penrith Harold Matts team. Jakiel wanted to come across.

I guarantee that he declined to come across and was not stopped by Jim Jones. If you know Jakiel then ask him.

Footyboy7, same five, so i would say they are the standouts. The 6 and 7 are crucial in a team, and i think matts have struggled from the start. Lets hope they go back to picking a squad as a train on and then cut from there.

Ok
So I asked him, and because I had asked before it was what I said word for word. He didn't say anything about jim jones. There you go :)

I am told the powers at Penrith hold the two centres highly, Wilson & Hertrick, i am told they are on extended contracts. Wilson is from St Clair, is hetrik from Glenmore Pk?

Thanks halfback for the info, Hetrick i am told has a very big kicking game? a "specialist" was the quote used to me. Wilson, i am informed by st clair is also very handy kicker, more strings to these boys bowes.

I see in the league review, Hetrick is second top point scorer in h-matts, not bad for a team coming 7th.

Both are very talented kickers micro. But i would have to say Ben Heterick is a fair bit more talented at kicking then Wilson.

Any updates from the matts and Ball games tonight?
:)

Harold Matts went down 36-10 and SG Ball went down 42-12.
Ben Heterick was stretchered off with what looked like a serious leg injury in Harold Matts

Considering our continued success in recent seasons in the junior reps this season has surely been disappointing.

We are clearly inferior to the better sides and this is disappointing considering we have arguably the largest junior nursery.

However, having said that there only really needs to be one, perhaps two players of genuine quality with each of the sides as history shows there is on very few who make the transition and succeed at the top level.

Hopefully there are one to two from this crop of juniors who can go on and make the transition to the top grade.

With no disrespect to Pacific Islanders as a race, but I feel our junior sides are becoming dominated by Pacific Islanders.

My point: Having 13 Andrew Johns' on the paddock wouldn't necessarily result in a that team winning every game. To that end, as a general rule, the Pacific Islanders tend to be creative individual players, but as a general rule don't fit too well into a structured game plan.

I feel we are suffering as a result of junior sides dominated by Pacific Islanders.
