Mmm, im sorry sweet-as, this year im gonna go with Glenmore Vs Brothers Grand Final.
My reasons being Glenmore Park best team in the comp, best coached, best disciplined and so on. And Brothers are a very skillful, fast and are quite disciplined at the best of times.

Both teams have very good players. And games between them this season have been close. With Brothers being the closest to beating there full side this year.
So yeah thats what i think.

St Marys are not very disciplined this year. They do not really listen to the coach rather opting to do there own thing. A very talented side which needs to start listening and respecting others then they will go places. But if this doesnt happen im sorry i cant see much goin on with them.

I think the rep squads for all ages, will be different from the same same Penrith squads of old, with some new players striving for selection.
Any also have this feeling?

:):)

Mate your absolutely right about St marys terrible attitude but I think like always they will pull it together at the end of the season. However I think it is too late for them to be any chance of winning the premiership.
Also I have heard that Reece Regan looks a good chance to cop a hefty suspension due to a spear tackle. If this is the case Brothers forward pack will be left in shatters and no matter how impressive Heather, Hetrick and robinson are they will really struggle to make the GF.

This is true.

Bad news for the Brothers side though if Reece gets a few weeks off. Though amongst the likes of Hetrick, Robinson and Heather, players like Kai Williams, Matt Hill and Lomano Lufe have been playing well this season.

I really think that St Marys have the side, though with no coach is a waste of talent.
Windsor after the Brothers game willl have about 5 in the judiciary for fighting.
St Clair rely on players like Ryan Wilson a lot, though have some more decent players stepping up. Ie Risati Vincent, Jake Attard and Zach Ryan.
But Glenmore as i have said have a gun team, a gun coach and a gun attitude, so theyll be hard to beat.
Sweet-as i think you know a lot about the U16s, i would like to know tyour opinion on this?
If you have seen many games this season, would you rethink some players chosen for matts? Or should be looked at now?

My biggest concern with the matts side last year was having no combination in the halves. This is where I belive everything shut down.

I would've had Steve misevic and Nathan Antonelli and would have kept those two all year. Both are smart players, good mates and have been a great combination for Glenmore park for many years.
It also stuffed up the matts with the injury tony satini got, as well as Louis Taalave going off the rails. With these two boys added to their attack I believe it would have made a massive difference on the outcome of their season.

Halfback, reegans contract was not renewed and his manager was told Penrith did not want to sign him as he was not the build they wanted for the future. They might pick him for ball, if he does not sign with someone else. If they wanted him they would sign him, ??????

There is some truth to that from what Im told but not completely. I was told from selectors that his size while an issue was only a problem because he had no settled position. Told Reece needed to prove his worth in one position to earn a new contract. Either lock or hooker is fine with his size but has to play just one position only, which now seems to be hooker. They liked what he offered in his one game there in Ball.

And now Louis is mucking around for Colyton some weeks.
Tony is carving up.
Nathan is signed to Roosters, and Stevie apparently not fussed with Penrith.
Time to look to the future. Stop dwelling on matts, and look forward to preparing this team for Ball.

Reece Regan free to play the mighty green and white this week end after getting no suspension at the judiciary last night, windsor players all suspended between 4 and 6 weeks. good news for the brothers u/16 side, the end for windsor. I will get down to the stadium on sunday at 9.00am and see the game, should be interesting to see how some of these guys are going........

It will definitely be a great game.
Brothers will be fired up after last week, while the Saints are coming off a good win last week.
Brother are missing nuilesa and St marys are missing Doran.

Tai tuivasa will play a big part in this game, if he performs st marys win, if not then brothers will i believe.

I totally agree sweet-as.
Not the fact if Tai performs, more the fact if he turns up(decides he wants to play well).

What info can you guys give us about Moylan and is he good enough to one day make first grade

He definitely can, however i think harry has more potential.
However I dont agree with the decision to have moylan playing 20s. I think think he is developed enough to handle the size and spped adjustment.

Moylan was captain of this years ball team. Probably would have played 20s earlier but broke his wrist the in ball semi. Plays touch for Australia and was leading try scorer for the Panthers this year. Can play.

Yeah I kno I was surprised moylan didn't get a run. But then again Blake Austin is turning into a superstar player and any field time he gets is great.

I also went down and watched some junior footy this morning.
St marys easily defeated brothers 32-14.
Jakiel and Bryce both played up for them and both did a good job.
Tai also played well.
Don't know why tevita and joel didn't play though??

Big Tai was at his brilliant best for the green and white, unstoppable. Reece Regan is just a hog, he ran and kicked for himself with no real reason, you would not pick him in sg ball, he only plays for himself and kills any play hilly had set to go, if brothers are a chance next week regan should be on the bench.Brothers best was ben hetrik, whenever he got the ball he busted st marys up, i did not know he was that quick, defencively he cut tai every time in the first half, then sainties coach swapped tai to the right and he carved up.I say it again, dougie, hetrik would be great in green and white next year, find him something in the cupboard.

Yeh I agree Hetrick was probably brothers best.
To be honest he was probably the only player that looked good in the brothers line-up today.

Agree, sweet as, he was definately their best , daylight second. Sanities play brothers again next week and they will win again. i have seen hetrick in a few matts games and school games and today he was outstanding, he should be selected in academy ball side at a minimum. Tai also back to his best.
