WESTS Tigers have enhanced their status as a club on the rise, luring billionaire businessman Harry Triguboff back into the fold.
The Meriton Apartments boss, with an estimated wealth of $2 billion, has agreed to a sponsorship arrangement with the Tigers for the rest of the season.
Triguboff walked away from the club three years ago when the Tigers lurched from disaster to disaster, including John Hopoate's finger-poking exploits and the drug suspensions to Craig Field and Kevin McGuinness.
Tigers chief executive Steve Noyce revealed Triguboff was won over by the plans of coach Tim Sheens after they spoke at the Tigers' last match at Leichhardt Oval against Manly.
"Harry listened to Tim's passion and knowledge of football. I think after listening to Tim, Harry felt comfortable with the plans to take us forward and he came back on board," Noyce said.
The Tigers are chasing their third straight win today when they face Parramatta - something they have not achieved since 2001.
