Has anyone else heard of this?

I remember hearing or reading about a league player a few years ago, who played for an English club (not sure if it was a Superleague or a lower division club) and also he was signed up to a lower division English soccer club.

I cant remember if he was cut from the league or soccer team, he played a RL game one day, then the next day he took part in the soccer game

Now if anyone else here heard or read this and can remember parts of the story, id like to know:

His name, the Rugby League club he played for, the soccer club (i think it may have been Wrexham or Crawley) and the reason why he was axed from one of the clubs

i used to do a similar thing when i was playing league


on saturdays i had club tennis in the morning then club league in the arvo


then on sundays i had rep league in the morning and rep tennis in the arvo

I'd believe it, I play tennis on Friday, Cricket saturday, rep cricket sunday, Touch footy on Monday and basketball tuesday. And I still find time to work and be on here just about every other minute of the day. Multi-tasking! :lol:

As a Pom living in England I`ve never heard of this .If it had happened it would have been splashed all over the newspapers over here but it wasn`t . Sorry but I don`t think it ever happened.

I believe it also. At the time where the two seasons are crossing over I am playing Union friday night, league saturday morning, cricket saturday afternoon. Rep cricket Sunday.
