This is quite clever for the Sharks

If he goes well they draw in the crowds and they get bums on seats and can pay some bills. If he goes shit they get him on one of the misdemeanours he's likely to get caught up in and they can dump him.

It's a win, win for the Sharks - which is a bloody rarity for them

Anyway, it's a long held urban myth that Cronullas trophy cabinet is empty. There is a rather large, rather impressive looking trophy in there shining brightly. The AMCO cup. Seeing that we won the last one it's ours in peprutiuty. Add to that some rothmans medals and some terrible mid 90s merch and they have padded it out to avoid total embarrassment*.

*I had my 30th in the room with the trophy cabinet and got the club staff to cover it up with black curtains. Until the get the sharks pepsi can out of there, it's a joke.
