Thaaaaat's better. As soon as the trolls f**k off the thread is back on the rails.

To be fair, there is more to it than just making the finals that need be judged. The fashion in which they were eliminated can't be dismissed, usually a thrashing that makes it clear they were an outlier. Same rule can be applied to Griffins' tenure at the Broncos. We made the finals more often than not, but usually from 8th place only to be wiped out in the first week.
Henjak and Griffin took Bennett's legacy and drove the side south, there's no avoiding that.

Hasler took a side that missed the finals every second season since the last premiership and has them qualifying for the final eight every year since coming on board.

I won't pretend last season's exit method was any good or that change isn't necessary but punting Des is throwing the baby out with the bathwater. The staffing changes will hopefully do the job they were designed to and we'll ideally have a more competitive finish in 2017.

That to me is a failure of a season, really. And I would say that If I was a fan of any other club as well. It brings discussion about culling the finals sides down to the top 6 back into the picture once again because (at least as far as my memory goes) the Dogs making the GF from 7th is the only example in recent times of a side finishing that low than making the GF, and that was the final year of the McIntyre format if I'm recalling right. And as has been previously mentioned, there were even underlying circumstances to that like other teams being badly diminished at the wrong time.
Parra 09 from 8 if my memory is better than yours.

Jesus.
You'd f**king neck yourself if you were an Eels supporter.
Just another post proving that some Broncos fans have no idea how good they've got it.

I wish my team sucked as much Hasler's Bulldogs.... Hasler has led them to 2 GF's and never missed the Finals since he went there.... my mob have had most of September off every season since 2009...

Titans aren't the problem . . . Benny reckons Cronk/Smith/Slater/Inglis/etc should've been his

True, but now the donkeys have to pay overs to a potential recruit. They can not say we are the only club in qld. They had players taking pay cuts to stay in the south east a while back. While the coach was getting under table cash from talbot mind you!

So I've just been notified by my ISP that there's a good chance I'm currently getting DDoS'd.

Not about to start throwing accusations around, but if I find out it's coming from here, enjoy the knock at the door. I know a thing or two about finding I.P addresses too.
