I still think Hasler is a chance for us. Coming out and saying he hopes to stay at Belmore and that things were looking positive there could be nothing more than a tool to ramp up negotiations with the Dragons. Makes out he's still considering his options and that he's wanted at the Dogs

Why is everyone assuming a new coach has been signed up...there is absolutely no evidence to suggest this has happened. This is just like last season where everyone was absolutely certain Cleary had been signed up...and we were all devastated when this turned out to be wrong. No new coach has been signed up for next season!! and it is highly unlikely the Board has even spoken to anyone. I think people on the forum are giving the Board way, way, way too much credit....they are sitting on their hands hoping, hoping that Mary comes through for them and if he doesn't, then they will start looking for a coach..

These decisions should be made well in advance of 2018. I suppose we are all wishing and hoping that this nightmare will end. I personally would like to see no more wasted seasons and hope 2017 is the last for a long, long time.

Pressure needs to be put on the Board and strong words need to be published in the media however, who is going to arrange that.

Actually, "tendency evidence" is considered a form of evidence. This board have shown a distinct tendency to stick way way too long with an incumbent (typically "old boy") coach, and outside of one notable aberration, a tendency to never recruit a coach from outside well in advance of their start date.

So, that is evidence.

My question is if Mary made the 8 this year or better , would everyone be happy to keep him on ? A No from me .... We need a change either way .
