1941 – Footscray pack up and leave the Western Oval and play their home games at Yarraville, leaving the oval free for soldiers on the way to the battles of New Guinea during World War Two.

1943 – The Club returns to Western Oval.

That leaves the only holes Toorak Park and Olympic Park.

I'm confident that North Melbourne used the Coburg ground for a season in the 1960s.

I believe that St Kilda may have played games at Toorak Park during their short lived merger with Prahran in the latter part of the 19th century.

Perhaps the article was also taking into account the grounds clubs played at when they were part of the VFA?

I hear that a night game involving St Kilda & South Melbourne was once played at Olympic Park, but that is as much as I can come up with for that ground.
