Hayne will find a way to get off... dropping with his knees in the prelim last year was worse and he managed to play the Grand Final.

Find a way? WTF.
All he did in that instance was plead guilty.

He didn't make contact? Really?

You seem to have conveniently missed his sliding knees on Hayne as well

You seem to have conveniently missed the grapple tackle by Hayne that led to the first incident.

Lewi has been in 1st grade for 8yrs and has never been chatged or had to go to the judiciary and now with his 1st offence he could miss origin??????? the tackle wasnt even that bad.

then why does he have a 50% loading for a similar offence in the past 2 years?

He wont be getting off this one....especially after how the judicary let Thurston off last week. The visual evidence is as clear as day in this regard....he leant forward with his head in a butt type action.
Unless he had a medical condition which makes him lean forward with his head!

Surprising result. I thought they would have either charged them both, or neither of them. Probably the right one though, I can't really see what Slater did wrong, it looked a bit bad but he missed anyway.

I wonder if they'll name Hayne in the side or what? Because there is a chance (I guess) that he could fight it and win.

Its not surprising to me. It's clearly the right call.

Theres no way I can see Hayne fighting this and beating it, he has no defence.

Hayne got off last year because there was nothing in it. This year is a different story. A head butt is blatant and deliberate. He's farked.

The judiciary actually looks on your favourably if you suck at punching.

Slater had the same intention as Hayne, just lacked execution.

I didn't miss it at all. We are talking about Slater here.

But Hayne isn't charged with a grapple tackle?

Must be Parramatta Protection Policy being enforced.

On a weekly basis there are incidents that should have been charged that aren't. It seems it is only when Storm get off with something, or Parramatta feel hard done by, that it seems to be constantly whinged about...

Besides, Parra will spend the money for Hayne to challenge and he will get off.

As a NSW fan, this is beyond disappointing.

If only Hayne had cooled it, then turned to the Ref (not looking directly into his eyes), and told him to go and #$% #&*$(# you stupid *$^&, everything would be fine.

Hopefully NSW pick Luke Lewis and hope that he beats the charge. IMO he's a good chance at beating it. But if he fails, atleast he won't be missing Origin 1 AND a Panthers game. Would be BS if he missed both.

If only ...................................

we can play that game , sure

If only Hayne didn't put his forehead into Slater's face
If only Lewis didn't put his hands between the oppositions players legs
If only the judiciary charged Thurston with the correct charge

lol @ Slater getting off scott free...

I'm not suggesting Hayne should get off either - but they both did stuff equally as stupid as each other (and in Slater's case, on more than one occasion). Either they both play, or both miss out.

And as for Lewis, pretty much anything above the horizontal gets you into trouble, even though the result wasn't too bad - so kinda expected really.

So much for all the preseason tripe about Hayne maturing, being a leader and being there for his team..he is a f**king dope and has done great damage to NSW chances of squaring the series!
