Just heard on 2ue

Great News! Let's just hope now that common sense prevails and he is positioned at fullback.

Wow.... surprised. Be interesting to hear how he got off, but he was definately guilty and I can say that as a diehard Parra supporter.

Given the niggle of Slater (including his slide into Hayne that happened in front of me), it is great that he has been let off. The New Zealand players who were suspended in the past should be a bit puzzled, but I am very happy - Go Hayne, go NSW.

He was always going to get off once they realised they couldn't pin a charge on Slater.

They would have suspended both of them I reckon if they thought any charge would stick on the Storm grub, but as it is in the name of fairness and equality (between us and the Storm as well as between states) Jarryd got lucky.

Hope this means Gidley is dropped to the bench now!

Agreed - it was a headbutt and a moment of madness.....but happy to be hypocritical tonight :)

Love the 4 or 5 threads on this! Great news so will they put him at fullback? When is team officially announced?

paves the way for selectors to play Gidley at fullback and Hayne on the wing :sarcasm:
