Disgusted with this.

How he could be the games best player when he has been clearly spotted at woolworths in his playing gear instead of being on the field with the eels is beyond me.

Pfft, the ego on him.

Bet he runs around the joint doing the plane too.

Hayne through defensive laziness assists oppositions with more tries than he scores for his team, if he were to make the permanent transition to centre he could be the worlds best?

Eh?

Hayne is probably the best defensive fullback in the competition.

Of course fullbacks will "let in" more tries than they score - in a good year, a fullback might score 20 tries all year, but he will "let in" far more than that.

Early on in his fullback days, yes - he was lazy and his positional play needed work.

But he's a complete player now.

His attitude and carry-on is a different story, but in terms of football, he's the best player in the game, and is a fine fullback.

I would wager there is not a team in the NRL that wouldn't have him in their side.

As for moving him to centre...well, yes - I think he could become the best centre in the game. It's not hard for a player of his ability - he's quick, agile, strong and has a good pass. He can also tackle.

He has proved for both NSW and Australia that playing in the centres is not beyond his ability.

This is why i have trouble reading! Hayne is lucky to get within coo-ee of any player scoring against his team when in the red zone, because he is lazy and thinks his presence is enough.

You've obviously missed his crushing 1 on 1 tackles and his ability to hold players up over the line.

I'm sure David Stagg would beg to differ.

Is he infallible? No.

But Dugan aside, every fullback in the comp is merely mortal.

Its the tackles Jared cannot be bothered to try and get too that make him lazy, not the Eels conceding 465 points this season [3rd only to Canberra and Cronulla]. Question; who is the last man opposition teams need to beat to score those 465 points? Who is the player at the back that is supposed to organise the defensive line?

You're a dropkick of the highest order.

In fact that's being too kind. You're lower than the steaming shit that swims through the sewers.

Now piss off back there where you belong.
Calling Hayne these sort of names is being a little harsh, imo Lazy is his only short fall.

Jesus H watching that video, he has it all doesn't he. Vision, pace, strength, he does not have a weakness and in all honesty he walks into any team around, including Melbourne. If my club didn't have Tim Moltzen as its fullback for 4 seasons I'd gladly have taken him

Hayne at 80 percent is still probably a top 5 player in the world, he is just that gifted.
