Hayne through defensive laziness assists oppositions with more tries than he scores for his team, if he were to make the permanent transition to centre he could be the worlds best?
Eh?
Hayne is probably the best defensive fullback in the competition.
Of course fullbacks will "let in" more tries than they score - in a good year, a fullback might score 20 tries all year, but he will "let in" far more than that.
Early on in his fullback days, yes - he was lazy and his positional play needed work.
But he's a complete player now.
His attitude and carry-on is a different story, but in terms of football, he's the best player in the game, and is a fine fullback.
I would wager there is not a team in the NRL that wouldn't have him in their side.
