Cool, i only noticed the one player who was wearing no. 38 for the Titans.
I only know cos the commentators specifically asked why tyrell had 88 in that game, saying they knew why hayne had 38 .... they didnt really question #38 when he played

I agree with Hayne.
Why should he be criticised for changing sports. He's a grown man, he can do what he likes. I like to try new challenges in my life and have changed jobs a few times. I don't see why footballers should be any different.
And all this crap people keep saying about him being a mercenary who is only out to get money....well who the f**k isn't! I love money. Money is awesome. If I have the chance to get more money (while still doing something I enjoy) then I will.

The only problem here is he is playing right into the media's hands by answering their questions in this manner. He does need to remember that he is part of a team currently, and that team has fans that follow them. He just needs to say that he is entirely focused on doing his best for the Titans this season and he will worry about the other stuff later.

It's a little thing called a contract. Honour what you signed. Don't talk about changing codes in the middle of one. If the option is in his favour worry about that in 2018 rather than causing mass speculation that could derail the Titans push for the eight.

If he wants to change codes - good luck to him. At least he is giving the Titans plenty of notice on this one.

And while clubs aren't honouring contracts either it's about time that the NRL put up a bigger fight in regard to it actually happening across the board.

I think one of jarryds problems is that he has always been a bit quick to talk about stuff he probably should be more careful about

@Chipmunk. It was just a reference to Mr Loyalty's habit of leaving contracts early... linking this to his (inferred) cohabiting and parental "contracts".

I couldn't say pre-nup, because Mr Hillsong hasn't followed through on the marriage front yet, and they'd only known each other for a matter of weeks when the pregancy occurred.
TBH you are being an ass suggesting he might desert his child
Just liking Stride's post doesn't help convey the message to Bart enough

Seriously... why would they care?
They weren't selling #38 merchandise and there was no reference at the ground to it.

I think Jarryd would care. Who knows what merchandising trick he had up his sleeve.

He is partial to the $

You'd have to take it up with them. It's also my impression that Thurston was paid a significant amount of money by the 9's tournament organisers to play in the tournament this year, I'm guessing The Plane was given some reward to wear 38...
