I think $800k is good money under the cap when you have been out of the game for 2 years. Remember the $1.2m the Titans offered includes TPAs, so they are paying similar to what we wanted to.

Two things about this...

1) Where does it say the offer includes TPA's, and...
2) It's against the rules to use TPA's as an inducement to sign with a club.

Yes, he is being very smart. Be "sad" that you didn't sign with the Eels, but excited about the future at the Titans at another time. Privately he did it for the money. What did anyone expect him to come out and say:

So is that right, Parra never offered him a contract? Was there anyone at Parra willing to offer him a contract? Very strange IMO. Good luck to him but kind of disappointing I'm sure once Parramatta got everything sorted they would've gone after him but obviously Jarryd couldn't wait.
