It's irrelevant whether you can or can't see it on TV. When you compare him to someone like Slater or Gutherson who is always around the ball (as seen on TV) it's obvious that fullbacks like Hayne and Inglis don't work as hard. Because you don't see them as often on TV. In fact, you won't see it at the game either, unless you're obsessively looking for Hayne instead of following the play. But what kind of loser would do that?Cool. So we agree that he's not the messiah, even if we disagree on the reason why.
Off the ball he is/was a very lazy player - the stuff that you don't see on a highlight reel, or on the TV camera angles.
So the Moses-Jennings defensive team is getting split up?https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nr...k=04cd38a83b7a77f507bb8505674d9b35-1511519385
Parra’s plan for Hayne plane
When Jarryd Hayne returns to Parramatta next season, he won’t be wearing the No.1.
Seven News reporter Josh Massoud claims Hayne will be playing in the centres with Clint Gutherson the preferred option at fullback by Brad Arthur.
This means Hayne will line-up inside Bevan French on the right side of the field despite playing on the left edge at Origin level for NSW.
“He made that number one jersey his own when he was at the club but I can reveal he’ll be playing right centre when he joins the Eels in 2018,” Massoud said.
“That’s a huge tick of approval for Clint Gutherson who starred in the fullback role for Parramatta.
“He’ll be staying there with Bevan French on the wing.”

Hayne was twice penalised inside the opening 11 minutes for infringements on Slater, the second of which led to the Kangaroos' fullback scoring the game's first try.
Lol, so we still agree that he doesn't contribute as much as other (better) fullbacks. It's irrelevant whether you can or can't see it on TV. A deadshit looser, that's whom.
If he ditches his Titans contract in the new year, he's effectively giving himself an extended off-season before a contract at a new club can commence.Hayne has to worry about getting through pre season before even thinking about getting on the field.
All fair points actually. If he ditches his Titans contract in the new year, he's effectively giving himself an extended off-season before a contract at a new club can commence.
Lazy. And not a good value signing for us imo - doesn't add much value over our current options in whichver position BA decides to play him. Except maybe on one wing, but his asking price is too much for that and he will unbalance the squad.
I'd say he's more quality than quantity. I just think he is better suited to the outside backs. The modern game is about getting numbers around the ball, in both attack and defence. There is still room for players who pick their moments, but the spine isn't really the place for them. Wing/centre is.Lol, so we still agree that he doesn't contribute as much as other (better) fullbacks.
no headbutts unfortunately .... i saw him flop on him hard once - which started the early bruhaa .... and i saw him give billy a little tap on the arse a bit later - as jarryd does - I will headbutt you, then pretend we are buddiesI didn't see the game last night, but this brought back memories. Were they at it again ? One of the great rivalries IMO.
Do any of us really:If he ditches his Titans contract in the new year, he's effectively giving himself an extended off-season before a contract at a new club can commence.

Do any of is really:
1. Know what his asking price is?
2. Know where BA would play him if he comes?
