I am suggesting that if it was a different club that picked up Hayne for such a bargain then I would have expected a few people to cry foul.

It's different living here IMO. It's not as bad as everyone says but it's pretty much a giant country town so it definitely takes a certain kind of person to enjoy it.

It's a lot better than it was when I was a teenager though, much cooler places to eat and drink and hang out.

I don't agree. Are fans of other clubs claiming that there's something suspicious going on here? Not that I've seen. Why not? Plenty have said that signing him is a risk. Even some of our own fans. And he's a Parra icon so most people understand that he wants to return and might take a hit to do that.

Tbh I think he could sign for Parramatta for nothing and give out brothel vouchers at home games and there would still be people unhappy....so that's not a very good question.
