Not much of a shift IMO.

Just a question - Have you ever spoken to women about this issue and gotten their take on things?

I have, mate. I work in the health industry (so maybe it's different?). I've asked lots of women if they've ever felt there was a power imbalance or if they've ever felt they were discriminated against. The resounding answer has been 'no'. Now, I realise this might be a small sample size, but I've asked this question at lots of forums (sexual abuse forums; trauma-informed care forums; domestic violence forums, etc), so I would have expected a different response. To be honest, I have been fairly surpised. Most of these women come from middle-class backgrounds and are fairly well-educated. Maybe women from lower socio-economic backgrounds might have a different experience.

Speak for yourself merkin!

Just because most of the people in power are men doesn't mean most men have power over women. Men provide far more of society's outliers, so the people at the very top and the very bottom are overwhelmingly men. But the majority of men are in the middle of the bell curve with the women. They have no special power over them. In fact most of them don't even get to root them.

Exactly what I was trying to say - but didn't put it so eloquently.

How was Hayne meant to know this was going to come up? The initial case went to a DA 2 years ago and he dismissed it completely as there was no convincing evidence to convict Hayne if anything. As if you'd think about something like that.
Of cause. Why would you mention such a thing. Happens every day that the DA looks to make a charge against you (him). Nothing to see here. Im sure it will all work out fine and everyone will apologise for even mentioning it.
All good.

they get into feminism at a younger age. Women get into feminism for power and control.
It’s a sexual trade union for unattractive women.

Socially inferior men attempt to organise in similar ways but they are met with ridicule, the f**ken loosers.

Cool mate.

I have as well and have had mixed responses.

Some don't want to complain but then I have seen them experience it in the workplace.

Loosers! Just like blokes with no ability to garner money and power.

The world is unfair to plenty of people, regardless of gender. But at least women generally have a better social safety net.
Yes the world is unfair to lots of people. However, I think it is less fair to women in general than men.

We'll agree to disagree on that.

No. The DA said there wasn't sufficient evidence to convict Hayne of anything, the woman was attempting to lay charges. If there was this would be a legal case and far more serious. This is a civil case.
