Of course I realise that. I’m also not sure why you’re referencing QLD’s position as to what constitutes DV as each state has its own definition, and this alleged offence was committed in NSW.OK. You do realise that there can be a difference between domestic violence and other violent activities and just because one may occur in the domicile of either party, does not make it 'domestic' violence?
Seriously, do you think of the Hayne alleged matter as domestic violence?
If so, you are mistaken.
In fact the QLD Police website goes into further details on what is considered "domestic violence" and even include a definition of "an intimate personal relationship":
I don't think a one-night stand qualifies.
Whether you think a one-night stand qualifies is irrelevant as to how domestic violence related incidents are categorised in NSW.
The classifications for “Relationship to the victim” in Intimate Partner Violence is listed as:
Boyfriend/Girlfriend or date
Current Partner
Previous Partner
The alleged sexual offence occurred on a Tinder date and it was sexual in nature. It would be classified as an IPV offence.
