I think he had every intention of coming back to Parra, he was just disappointed that we didn't make the offer that he wanted so he chose the big money at the Tits.

You could see he was disappointed in his presser but at the end of the day it was his final choice.

Yes. And SURELY us not having Sharpe or Anderson or the others in a position to hold talks with him and his management must have played a part.

Wonderboy is selected at 6 for the Tigers match.

Ivan Cleary said on NRL tonight that 6 is a good move cos he can get his hands on the ball more and he's too fat to play fullback.
I reckon its a dud move

He's a 2x DallyM winning fullback, you don't put him in the halves in order to keep David Mead at the back....
They gotta pick him where he can be most dangerous...

I suppose I kind of understand if they are just trying to get some miles into him, but they'll make more noise with him at the back.

Vital questions about Hayne's NRL move need to be answered

IT has been a week since Jarryd Hayne turned his back on the Parramatta Eels.

Many questions need to be answered about the situation.

Has he dudded the club that released him early and supported him? In a way I feel he needed to show them some loyal as the Eels were the club that has looked after him from his junior days until now, even releasing him from his contract to chase his dream.

Who is to blame for him not returning? While Hayne blamed the instability, I am sure this is not the main reason for his decision. When you are offered much more money to go to another club, the player needs to weigh up whether money is to be the top priority over happiness.

Should Parra have shifted heaven and earth to sign Hayne? Brad Arthur summed it up best when he said he has to consider the effect on his team if the Eels had matched the Titans' huge offer. The effect would have been the loss of more players from the roster.

Will Hayne succeed at the Titans? Hayne is a freak of a player and the change of the jersey doesn't change this in anyway.

Will he ever return to the Eels?
Fingers crossed he does but I will not be cheering him on.

And do I care what people on the internet think of me on the internet?

Refer to the same quote as above - it's only the internet, it's not real life.

But please, continue to be irrationally upset about my on-topic posts... :p

I'm not upset by your posts. and i'm not having a go at you. However, I'm intrigued when people (not just you) say "it's only the internet - it's not real life". Why isn't it real life? And if it isn't, what makes it different from real life? I'm not just asking you, I'm asking everyone.

My experience with the internet is that people would never say what they say on the internet in real life.

The anonymity of the internet tend to free up peoples inhibitions, which is both the beauty and the curse of the internet.

Yes, it doesn't make a lot of sense. If someone rang me on the phone and started being a dick, is that OK as long as they withhold their number? And they're only a dick on the phone, so who cares?

Yeah, it's weird. And what about in the days when we used to write letters?
What I find the most intriguing is people having more than one 'alias' on the internet. What's that about? Is that like making a phone call and pretending to be someone else?
