And Hayne still has more Dally M's than Kent has first grade appearances.
That is one of the better rugby league zingers that I have seen in some considerable time. Kudos, Avenger.

Yeah. But it may not be the crash-landing his critics are hoping for. The NFL story was a massive high for a guy with a massive ego. He's still out of touch with reality but I reckon there's a good chance that he gets closer to earth at least. And the press dies down. He'll still be an exceptional NRL player if he gets his head right.I think the honeymooni is officially over.
You are sew right about that. You reap what you so.

Jarryd Hayne was axed from the Titans’ leadership group following arguments with teammates
JARRYD Hayne was axed from the Titans’ leadership group following arguments with teammates and placed on a weight loss program after he tipped the scales at 106kg.
The Courier-Mail can reveal fed-up Titans stars dumped Hayne from the club’s senior decision-making core as concerns intensified over the Dally M superstar’s commitment to the club.
Titans chief executive Graham Annesley broke his silence on the Hayne affair last night, insisting Gold Coast powerbrokers are standing by the underfire fullback, while Hayne’s manager rubbished claims he is unhappy.
But if Hayne loses the support of his Titans peers it could be the most definitive sign yet his big-money signing has the potential to divide a club eyeing a top-four berth this season.

BROWN WON’T WRITE HAYNE OFF

In pre-season, the two-time Dally M Medal winner was added to the Titans’ leadership group. He was joined by Ryan James, Kevin Proctor, Chris McQueen and hooker Nathan Peats as the club’s cultural pillars.
But Hayne lasted just a matter of weeks before the Titans’ senior core turned on him, jettisoning the former NSW Origin star as doubts over his desire surfaced.
Tensions reached a flashpoint when the Titans’ leadership group repeatedly fined Hayne for a slew of minor offences.
It has been reported Hayne was fined a five-figure sum but the amounts were closer to $200.
While other Titans squad members accepted small fines for turning up late to training or wearing the wrong uniform, a defiant Hayne questioned why he was being sanctioned.
Well-placed sources say Hayne argued numerous times with the leadership group and baulked at paying fines. On one occasion, he was fined for missing a training session after failing to respond to a text message circular from Titans coach Neil Henry.
Hayne claimed he left his mobile phone in the dressing room, but the leadership group fined him regardless — triggering an angry riposte from the big-name recruit.
The final straw was his commitment at training, with his weight increasing to 106kg — six kilos more than his playing weight when he shared the 2014 Dally M Medal with Johnathan Thurston.
KENT: TITANS CRACK DOWN ON HAYNE’S ATTITUDE
The Titans claim Hayne has since been restored to the leadership group, but several Gold Coast players are questioning his willingness to buy into the club’s culture.
Annesley defended Hayne, claiming the multi-code athlete was a victim of his sporting successes.
“I don’t know where these stories are originating from as all of the senior players I’ve spoken to have been 100 per cent supportive of Jarryd,” the Titans boss said.
“Everyone should give Jarryd a break. He needs to be left alone so he can concentrate on doing what he does best and what he came to the Titans to do, to play football as one of the most brilliant players in the game.
“We recognise Jarryd’s contribution and the value he brings both on and off the field.
“There is no doubt there is a tall poppy syndrome around Jarryd and some people externally would love to see him fail, but as a club we are doing everything we can to support him so he can produce his best.”

Asked if Hayne is lazy at training, Annesley said: “I’m not able to comment on that because I rarely see him train, but throughout his career Jarryd has been primarily judged on the mercurial things he can do on the field, and that’s what we know he can reproduce for us.”
Hayne’s manager Wayne Beavis dismissed suggestions his client is unhappy on the Gold Coast and is looking at other options.
“That’s bullshit,” he said. “I’m sick of these stories. He is up there and he has got a contract ... everyone has got a story.”
Titans coach Henry was tight-lipped on the Hayne issue.
“I’m not going to comment on it. It’s internal,” he said. “It’s up to the players to play, he’s a quality player and I expect him to play good footy, like I do all the guys.”
