Not overpaying and giving him a very defined role.If we got him for half a million (or thereabouts) we don’t need him to have a Dally M season to get value out of him.
Even at he’s worst his good enough for our top 17. The key is not overpaying.
So many smart people quick to point out that the media are prone to exaggeration and bullshit.
Such genius. Who would have thought?
The people who think he's going to have a DallyM season are delusional.
Not happy about this one bit.
I think the best thing we can hope for is that he doesn't do any lasting damage to the squad while he's here.
The people who think he's going to have a DallyM season are delusional.
Can't say I have either.I'm not sure I've seen one person suggest that. Not on here anyway.
I can't be bothered looking but maybe you could quote some examples?
FFS!Hayne's back? Awesome! He's a shoo in for the Dally M next season!!
FFS!I reckon he's going to have a Dally M season!
Lock it in!
Period!
From some bloke who's name rhymes with 'Hornstar'?Where are the places you hang out to hear such delusion?????????
Also with Hayne he can play anywhere in the backline from 1 to 6. Yeah it might not be at the elite level but definitely up to NRL level.
So we are also getting a player which adds depth to several positions for a pretty reasonable price it appears.
Gives BA plenty of options. Look at last year we had to use Smith at fullback or Mr T in the halves.
