Also with Hayne he can play anywhere in the backline from 1 to 6. Yeah it might not be at the elite level but definitely up to NRL level.

So we are also getting a player which adds depth to several positions for a pretty reasonable price it appears.

Gives BA plenty of options. Look at last year we had to use Smith at fullback or Mr T in the halves.

We don't need Hayne as halves cover, we now have T-Rex.

This smells a little!!!!
Does anyone think this may have been pre arranged for a return due to us not being able to fit him under cap initially?

I also hope we aren’t losing players like Gutherson, French or Moeroa as has been suggested because of it.

I would think they are higher in the pecking order atm big C

This aint 2009 and he is trying to put his career back together, things have changed

Careful Twiz, you might need to provide evidence, making big claims like it not being 2009...

Welcome back moffo.

Over to you Jarryd. Play to your potential and you & Jenkovic will carve up.

Don't f**k it up.

And this is the hope I have. Not blind hope, just hope.
He has clearly been unhappy throughout his whole time at the Titans. His first press conference he talked more about the Eels than his new club. He wouldn't be the first person who was unhappy with their job and not put 100% effort in. I'm not saying it's right, but it happens, regardless of what people are earning and where they work.
There's probably hundreds of kids earning $14/hr at Macca's that hate their job and at times just couldn't give a f**k.

What I'm hoping is that Jarryd has got all his ambitions and code hopping and brand promotion out of his system, and he just wants to play RL in an environment in which he feels comfortable.
I'm hoping that he feels that he is back in a secure place, both physically and mentally.
I'm hoping that he will appreciate the opportunity that he now has and just do his job.
I'm hoping that he just wants to do what is best for the team.

There's a lot of hoping there. This where I think BA might just be able to get the best out of him. If BA thought he couldn't, I don't think Jarryd would be with us anyway.
(Disclaimer) Jarryd actually hasn't officially signed with us yet.

Quite possibly however I wouldn’t have said that Moylan, Maloney, Blake Green, Mitchell Pearce and quite a few others whom have left mid-contract would be leaving to play for other clubs either. It’s based on business and how a player might perceive roster movements now as opposed to the pecking order.
