I think that's unfair on Inu. The pass was fine, and Humble lost the ball. However, the run toward the sideline and being caught by the cat were damn poor.
I don't think it's unfair, he'd done the right thing by snuffing out the Manly attack , the settling thing to do would have been to take the tackle. I know there was space up the right if he could get Humble and Hayne clear , but the risk was too great in his own red zone.

This makes him so potent close to the line, will he run or pass now?? Flip a coin and try and stop it.

This is why the best playmakers are all great runners as well as great ball-players.

Guys like Jim Dymock, Jason Smith, Jason Taylor and Tim Smith (all ex-Eels who were great passers with outstanding vision) were all able to be contained by marking up on their runners. They just lacked the speed off the mark or the footwork to be true threats when running the ball.

Jarryd Hayne is the first playmaker we've had since Kenny who consistently makes his own line-breaks. Because defences have to always be watchful of the run, Hayne creates space for his supports just by running to the line.

I think he would probably have run the length of the field to score a try. I don't think he would have been scared, he's done it before!!!

I meant to say that he would of scored had he taken the intercept. The iphone isn't very user friendly at the best of times, especially if you're on a train.

I'm a Roosters supporter but there is NO WAY in this world Hayne is, in any way overrated. It is obvious that he is one of the most talented players in the game and I'd only be assuming those that voted for him as the most overrated player in the comp are from rival clubs. I would love for him to be at the Roosters. He is an icon for the game and for him to win such a pathetic title is disgraceful. For somebody who has achieved so much so early in his career, he is extremely humble and IMO is a great role model to kids. He is by far and away the most popular player since Sonny Bill Williams.

INU doesn't seem fit enough. He looked out of puff on the intercept run. Didn't even back himself with some footwork.

Lol@ the parra supporter who said he is over the hype and that Hayne has done nothing this year!

Uneducated people who can't think for themselves who listen to their friends and use their opinions as their own make me laugh!!!

As soon as you see hayne name in a telegraph story you can be sure all the mindless hayne haters will surface, and the dribble starts about how bad he is playing.

i know the media go over the top sometimes but he is very talented and will only probally get better
