As people are saying here and in other threads, there is something wrong in the club things year affecting performances, the club clearly haven't got to the bottom of it, and Jarryd's effort would no doubt have created some extra work early this week in terms of morale and explanations and making sooky la la come to terms with his selection on the wing - that's extra work that could have been spent on better things in terms of the first grade squad's prpearation this week.

Not wanting to dictate anything, would just be wanting to be a coach that get to the bottom of the bad attitudes that have been plaguing us on-field this year... Hayne's quotes were roundly condemned by commentators on NRL Teams on Fox this evening too, so I know I'm not going out on a limb with this view that he stuffed up here?

If this was a face to face discussion I would have walked away long ago when things started to get silly - but here I'm simply responding when you (or RJ) have directly dealt that sh*t up, instead of discussed the issues re hayne. You're the one carrying on like I'm committing heresy for saying that Hayne shouldn't have went to the media before his coach with those statements. And you're also the one that started trying to put other words in my mouth and making personal judegements, just because I have a different point of view to yours?

I don't think anyone has to prove their opinions here, so the whole definition of the intended insult is irrelevent. But if you question and challenge someone's opinion in the way you and RJ went about doing so in this thread, then a person has a right to give answers of the fashion I've given - however you choose to interpret that is up to you. Again, I thought this thread was about Jarryd Hayne, not about me responding to childish personal comments?

I think the problem with the whole joint starts at the top.

Hagan is not inspiring anyone to play at thier potential let alone above it.

As I said after the weekend we have a disinterested bunch of average players and average includes the current form of Hindmarsh and Hayne.

Mateo is the only player showing anything near potential or beyond.

Finch tries hard and amongst the underachieving big names are a lot of middle of the roaders who never do much.

You can't lose your ability you only lose your attitude and the buck stops with the coach like it did with Smith when he feel on his sword.
