At the end of the day u are all having ago at me regarding Gutherson and shitty contract negotiations, yet u are absolutely tearing lomax to shreds, no doubt he has some dickhead in him, but it really sour grapes on ur part, because he has been sensational this year, so don’t bitch about the Kings treatment as u guys are far far worse regarding Lomax!!!!
The last time i checked mate we are doing it on our own forum. So dont come on here telling us how we are supposed to feel.

No, I think he was conceived behind the "Old" Grand Stand, while they were burning it down.
Ah they were the days ! Big Bob O’Riley , Ronnie Lynch and the great Thornett brothers , Ken and Dick plus their little half Ivor Lingard.

They had quite a decent team in those years however their Achilles heel was the lack of quality back - ups , although Parramatta did have a good young forward in Campbell cannot recall his Christian name .

And the Cumberland Oval itself was a good ground to play on ( we use to have our league games there for Cumberland High School ) also gave a fine view for the spectators .

Damn shame they burnt it down , but then again I suppose that at least they left the pool next door in one piece , spent many a happy day there over the summers of my youth .

Still the community leaders had the wits about them to lobby the powers to be to build the massive stadium which is a world class venue , pity our mob could not do likewise .
