Yeah, I actually like the build up of the backs, looking pretty solid.I saw that highlight. He looks like Tom Turbo. I hope he takes that into first grade.
Great frame to compliment Olam.
Our new boy in action.
I’ve seen these video’s before, big man on small man and nothing came of it.. let’s see him on the field before he takes a spot this early
I hope soNah. This time it's different. Tigers for 25.

How old is he Vic? I think there may be age restrictions to playing first grade now. Something like 17 and a half or 18, but I'm not sure?Thats a fair comment and we've seen plenty of guys like this before. Id say someone like Solo Saukuru is an example of this, a guy whos dominated lower grades but his size seems to be the main factor.
I do feel Makasani is different though. He has the footwork, pace, in and away, the fend plus he's a fantastic goal kicker. Id rate him ahead of Moses Suli at the same age and Suli was playing first grade at 18.
I believe he's 18 next year, not exactly sure when though. How old is he Vic? I think there may be age restrictions to playing first grade now. Something like 17 and a half or 18, but I'm not sure?
The thing I like about that highlights package is that he's not a complete hog like most young, dominant centres in particular, and centres in general. When he saw the winger in a better position than him, he'd pass off. If it was a 50/50 proposition he'd back himself.
Of course there's a big difference in the quality of the comps but he's certainly big enough and confident enough. Any clips showing his reads in defence? That'd be handy to see

I agree, but I think we all thought a lot of these kids (e.g. Galvin) weren't ready, but we know what happened there.
I don't think there will be any pressure on him, but I do think he will get a run next year at some stage.
TBH I'm not rapt in any of our centres. If he's elligable, has a good off season, shows the right attitude, and is not a complete liability in defence, I'd start the season with him at left centre.I believe he's 18 next year, not exactly sure when though.

A younger Latrell created absolute havoc and ran riot in the centres under Robbo.
Yeah, moving to south’s and playing where he wanted to hasn’t done him any good. That is what I thought he looked like. I reckon at his best Latrell was one of the best players in the comp in the centres. Let's hope he can be that good.

His salary v actual number of games played makes him the most expensive player in the game. Most of it, at his own feet.
@southsydneyrabbitohs and I have shared many regrets about his personal disposition and the inability of successive South’s coaches and management to reign him in.
The lesson for us is to learn from South’s errors in persisting with Lats and ensure our young blokes feet stay firmly planted on the ground.
Fly the tank in to talk to him and sage on.
Young blokes need good role models.
Thank you, I wish I did!TSP I enjoyed immensely reading your post you have a wonderful mind.
