Usual suspects Roosters and Bulldogs involved here chasing Tapine, we should definitely be going after him. Would add a lot to our pack.

Tapine is on pretty good money already, so not sure Roosters could fit him in but Dogs could certainly throw some cash his way. If the Sharks wanted him though I'm sure we can out bid everyone.

Rapana and Fergo aren't terrible signings. Both solid wingers with experience. Wouldn't cost much either. Rather have those two than Tracey and Hiroti that's for sure

Hes a halfback and wouldnt be the first 6 or 7 who didnt like tackling. Unfortunatley we dont have a Tony carrol to bodyguard him like wayne had for his star captain Lockyer.
He wouldnt be missing as many as our current 7 is.
Only bloke troubling the other side more at the moment is Kennedy.

Thats why you stand a bigger bloke who loves tackling beside them.
You cant do that when the 6 or 7 is picked to play centre or wing. Theyre on their own.

I think that's fair - three years is also a lengthy deal for a player whose best position is still unclear.

Sheesh it was nice to read that about Lockyer and Carol as I always used to think that when people were going on about how great Lockyer was. Tonie Carol was best Minder in the game back then .
