Benny G is currently 10 times the player Heighington will ever be. O'Donnell is a Kangaroo and would twat him any day of the week. Manu offers far more in attack and probably misses less tackles.

Back-rower stats are misleading. Ellis only gets involved in tackles that he needs to get involved in. He doesn't stat whore like Heighno (and Hindmarsh) sometimes do. I rate both Heighno and Hindmarsh massively but they play a different game to Ellis. Ellis saves unnecessary back and forth metres as third man in and uses the spare energy to put on some solid hits.

I'm keen for Ellis to bag a try though...because I don't want to see him nudie run!

What about Ellis's cut out ball to TNT who kicked through and scored. That was a halfbacks pass. Good to see the Milk bottle have that in his game.

Yep and thats being nice I cant remember him getting smashed backwards that much in a game Ever!. Its hard to say whats changed to make him seem so pissweak in attack now.

Lack of match fitness imo - you can train as much as you like, but it does not prepare you for the actual game with the collisions.

He has had no impact in attack all year !, his name was mentioned as a S Of O player last year and to see him now he is a totaly diferant player.

They were signatures that were hosted at a site that no longer exists, and I'm too lazy to get rid of them.

Regarding the previous post, NRL stats are always updated a few hours after the game. Heighington now has little metres from a lot of runs while Ellis has more than any of our forwards.
