Please post some tips to help a brother out online.

What should I buy? How can one stay out of harms way and pick off a few people etc. Just tips for those on the lower end of the XP level.

Thanks.

Use Ghost no matter what, and try and get the Pro version ASAP. Add a silencer to your gun as well. This will cut down your deaths by about half (assuming you're not playing hardcore).

Yeah, I hear ya on Ghost - will be pumping the hours in tonight to attempt to get enough coin to get that. When you mean PRO Version, your referring to the Ghost gear right?

I have a silencer as per Tonearm, the problem is getting the coin.

For a sports sim only guy, I think I found online gaming heaven. So sick. I've been missing out on so much it seems. Oh well.

Each Perk will have a PRO version, where you will need to complete certain challenges to unlock it. The PRO version will give you added.f benefits. eg. Ghost PRO makes you invisible to helicopters as well as spy planes.

Have you seen the Warlord pro? Biggest piece of crap going around, one extra grenade, wtf? How about a third attatchment or something.

Should be the same as MW2 imo, and give you a 2nd attachment on your secondary.

BTW Hacker Pro is all kinds of awesome. Booby trapping enemy care packages might not net you many kills, but its hilarious. Especially when they have about 3-4 vultures all trying to go for the crate and they all get blown up.

I am level 14. Your tips have really helped guys.

Should I be getting amongst it Rambo style or sitting back picking people off. I was preferring the latter, though as I am getting bettter guns I am thinking of going all Rambo on their ass so as to pick up the rate I get coin and XP.

Just reading that makes it sound kinda' obvious as to what needs to be done

Adding a silencer will lose you a red dot sight unless you go the warlord perk? Do the benefits of the silencer outweigh the better sights?

Silencers and sights both vary in effectiveness depending on what gun you're using imo.

Hardline Pro is easily the perk I have the most fun with. I get a lot of amusement out of downgrading other peoples care packages, even if I do occasionally help them out.

Ok I have been running with

FAMAS/AUG: Silenced, Red dot
Ghost
Warlord
Ninja

This has been getting me the most kills so far and HEAPS fewer deaths, I used to run with Marathon, steady aim and hardline.

It's all relative to how you play. If you do sit back &/or move cover to cover then Ghost is almost worthwhile to help camp. If you are going to go "Rambo" & run-n-gun it's, for mine, wasted due to people just spraying at whatever they see move anyway & hitmarkers give you up. From my experience, & if you are just starting out, the easiest guns to control while giving you reasonable damage are the AK74u & the AUG. The AUG especially is pretty much the games idiot proof weapon over any disttance. Silence them, scopes are un-necessary spot taker IMO if you give it some time to get accustomed to the iron sights. All coupled with Frag, Nova & Claymore. I'd love to use Hacker but I can't be bothered trying to use the Jammer/Sensor to get pro.

Just for the sake of throwing a setup or two out there I've used & liked:

Aug/AK74u/AK47 + Law

1) Scavenger .....1) Hardline/Scavenger
2) Warlord .........2) Sleight Of Hand
3) Ninja .............3) Ninja

Scavenger is great for running around. Pro spawns you with max ammo, an extra launcher shell (as I carry a Law it means I just bring down the choppers that Ghost users hide from ) as well as resupplying your grenades. When you have essentially unlimited grenades you wonder how people llive without them. Nova 'nades are as good a warning to protect your backside as a claymore.

Ninja I use over marathon for two main reasons. I think the sprint in B.O is massive as it is, & I like being silent while having other players get louder. Just Works for me.

Warlord with silencer & dual mag. Dual mag gives you a quick reload on every odd reload which negates the need for Sleight of Hand somewhat.

I don't claim these as the best ever, just that I find them balanced over any map or game type.

hmmm, nice write up.

Might change my aug to just iron sights with suppressor and dual mag then, see how i go, ill still use warlord, ghost and ninja though. I like to creep around the perimeter of most maps picking off straglers.
