I found when I switched to iron sights I didn't hit targets as freely to begin with. But it does get easier. In saying that you may hate it & never play unscoped again. It's all up to where your skills are at.
I'm an Xbox Live user TT.
Today I discovered the spraying joys of M60 Extended Mags + Grip. Probably not the most effective class I've ever used, but if you don't give a f**k where you place or your k/d its fun to use every now and again.
My eyes light up when I see 2 or 3 enemies lined up in a hallway or enclosed area. Mowing them down is brilliant.
I'm down for that.My friend put me on to that and it's hilarious when I see him just hold the trigger down running around unloading 200 slugs on to anything that moves  Whenver a small map like Summit or Nuketown comes up I bring the M60 out.
Should try and get people for an LU COD day/night for Xbox.
I have a bunch of different class's depending on what game type I play.
Team Death:
AK47 + Extended Mags
Hardline Pro, Slight of Hand Pro, Ninja Pro
This Class suits me perfectly, Ninja Pro makes other peoples footsteps louder so i can hear them coming, The Extended Mags make spraying a breeze, but most importantly, if i see two guys in quick succession i dont have to reload, just pick them both off. Unfortunately, i rely of the Slight of hand Perk, i need quick reloads and the faster ADS, I can't function without it. Hardline Pro is amazing, Having a Spy Plane after 2 kills right off the bat (which is basically a guarantee at the start of the match) helps the team so much as everyone gets the Spy Plane, it's great. I chose the AK47 just because i feel comfortable in it, the FAMAS is good, but I just wasn't having the success with it that I have with the AK47
Hardcore Search + Destroy
FN FAL + Red Dot Sight
Hardline Pro, Slight of Hand Pro, Hacker
This is a fun class, The FAL was made for Hardcore mode, it's and Assault Rifle with One Shot kill and it's so fun. I wasn't a fan of the iron sights for this gun, So i chose the Red Dot and i had the most success with that as the attachment. Best thing about hardcore mode is that the is no Mini Map so no point having a silencer as an attachment because noone can see your shots. Again, Hardline because a Spy Plane after 2 Kills in Hardcore mode... jizz. Hacker because SnD is riddled with Claymores, can't afford to lose a life. this class might not be for everyone, the FAL requires a quick trigger finger as it is a Semi Automatic, but if your finger is too quick it will lock up on you. But if you can master it, it is the best for Hardcore Modes.
Capture the Flag/Domination/Demolition
AK74u + Rapid Fire
Lightweight Pro, Slight of Hand Pro, Marathon Pro
This class took a lot of work for me, I needed a class that was fast, and this was the fastest i could come up with. CTF is the best for this (especially in Summit and WMD where everyone is in the same place 90% of the time) but alas you need to be able to handle the iron sights which isn't for everyone. The Rapid Fire makes this class for me, it's a quick fix to the "I'm sprinting and just turned a corner and saw an enemy, but they saw me first, sh*t" And as soon as i discovered them i havn't looked back, This is a fast class and I love it. But you can't "sit back" with this class, you need to be a "run-n-gun" type, which I am.
I'd swap the Hardline for Flak Jacket in hardcore.
The only issue I have with the DLC Map Packs is that generally only the good players get them. If you
Can't compete with them then you have wasted your money because you're going to be vsing them everytime you log on.
