Help Please... Mick Russo?

Hi guys

Being a Storm supporter i was hoping someone could give me some info on how Mick Russo is going with you guys. I've noticed he hasn't managed to break into you first grade team as yet (if he even will) and i heard last night he may be carrying an injury. He was in Melbourne last night but i didn't manage to have a word with him before he left the pub we were at. Can anyone help with some info?

Been injured most of the year.

Just starting to work his way back in Reserves.

Apparently was one of our best trainers in the off season.

Yeah I forgot about Russo....when was he injured?

How did he go before that?

Didn't do much. I remember thinking that he looked like he had alot of time. Has some good handling skills too but hasn't done anything since his injury.

Nobody here at the Sharks knows who he is or what he does.
I did hear he got kicked out of training once. Nobody knew who he was.
I also heard there was an argument with gate staff at a home game who refusedhim entry without full payment.
& whoever he is, he's apparently injured.

he was in a car accident which seen him have a shoulder reconstruction that made him not be able to play until a few weeks ago

I'm a little lost about the car accident tho unless he was in another one up there?

When he was in Melbourne he was in a bad car accident which saw his passenger (and our fill in No. 7 at the time Marty Turner) in hospital and out of the game for a long while but Mick did make a comeback after that but he broke his leg (i think) in a Junior Rep game in about Oct 2002 and was out almost the entire 2003 season. That left barely any time for him to break back into out first team before you guys snapped him up. I hope he proves a good buy for you, if you can get him back on the paddock.
