wat r your computer specs i have cricket 2002 and it works fine

Try going to www.cricketweb.net and go to their download section, there is a essentials download file that has heaps or .dll files in it, thats where I got it from, I had that problem, downloaded the file installed it rebooted and then it worked.

have you got the latest version of directx?
its needed for pretty much every game around.
also make sure your graphics drivers are up to date.

Apart from that im not sure

oh yeah btw, ddraw.dll is part of the direct draw libraries which is part of direct x so its def a dx problem

Install the latest version of DirectX, from the Microsoft website, just search for DirectX 8 or 9, or install any game released in the last two years off CD, it'll come with it. That should fix your problem. You could probably find it on the latest version of Mavis Beacon Typing Tutor, which I also recommend along with the demo.
