Honestly but, this was quite literally a post-match press conference made for Tooves. Whether or not the penalty count was justified the sheer amount of more penalties that Penny had would have resulted in strips being torn of the walls by Toovey's laser eyes.

Didn't notice much whinging from Manly fans about the refs after the Newcastle game a few weeks ago...

All the calls were fine with the DWZ try being questionable. Manly were really strange in the ruck tonight. Lots of hanging on etc. I think they were just trying too hard which isn't a bad thing. They clearly have the right mental attitude of wanting to win.

Number of penalties doesn't equal a bad game by the refs. The need people have for the count to be even makes for B.S evening up penalties etc.

I've seen Perenara have a really good game where he lets the game flow and doesn't ruin it by blowing many penalties. Never ever seen Klein do that.
