Phew....I am okay than. I live in the Sutherland Shire so I am obviously a legend like some of you. It's funny though, the people in and around Penrith talk, walk and act no different to the people over here.

I wonder where the elitism came from? I can't seem to find a reason for it.
Elitism you say I don't go on the Penrith forum shitting on the Panthers, actually I don't mind the Panthers yet here you guys are..Especially Betcat what righteous fellow he is.

It was only twice but fair point. We still owe you for giving us Mark McGaw and Paul Franze. We didn't read the fine print on those purchases.

I haven't said anything about Cronulla. I just said Gus could hold a sponsor and asked why Penrith was a shit hole.
I don't know Bearcat but I get his point about certain players and officials costing the Sharks financial opportunities. We are all blind to our team but at some point, your club and its fans need to accept that incidents such as the podcast, keep sponsors away.
If Fifita was your run of the mill player, he would've been moved on a long time ago. The culture of the Sharks is to continually tolerate poor behavior and this tarnishes your brand equity.
Rothfield is a king germ but for some reason, people within the Sharks keep giving him reasons to write his unhelpful stories. 99% of your club would be decent human beings but there is a 1% element that does everything to undo the great work of the 99%.

So anyway, the cap issues aren't bad and will amount to SFA as far as punishment is concerned.

The sooner the NRL pull their finger out of their arse and slap us on the wrist, we can move on.

I agree with all of this. The sharks have never been marketable. Never been the club that can come out of scandal in an ok position.
Get some winners on the board and in the front office that have good reps and f**k off all the dickheads.
It’s only a matter of time until they all sink.

And those who say, but they are good players, big whoop. We aren’t going to win anything again whilst Flanagan is the coach and we have no money to spend on staff.

Pretty sure there is thread about this in theNRL section.
The thing is if you come in here stirring shit people will have a crack.
Maybe discuss it with all the experts over there...I’m a regular expert there.

You are missing the point. It meant whatever Fifita said it meant, sure, but you still have to convince the general public of that. Fifita with his history and reputation isn't going to be able to do it, not with slothfield reporting it as "free" and other media outlets jumping on board just because it is selling.

The sharks and their players are no worse behaved than any other nrl club I imagine, but you have let guys like Fifita ruin the clubs marketability. Die hard NRL fans might not care about what the papers write about their club and players, but potential sponsors certainly do. You just have been managed poorly, all these dickheads should've had their leashes yanked, Buzz is apparently a sharks fan and you've got players feuding with him, he is the editor for a big newspaper it doesn't matter if he is wrong or a dickhead, just don't get into with him ffs tell dugan and fifita to swallow their pride and shut the f**k up. Coming off the development and a premiership and you are unable to attract sponsors, it should be the opposite, you should be stronger than ever.
Thanks Hoops

If Penrith is so f**ken nice why do you and Gould choose the Sutherland Shire over it?

Lived in both. Sharks fans have some sort of delusional superiority complex. There's not much difference.

They reacted pretty swiftly to the Flanno article earlier in the week or late last week.

Dragging ass on this latest issue.

Probably waiting to sign SJ and make some sort of positive uptick

There was a girl who worked her butt off behind the scenes for the club named Jess. Does anyone know if she has been let go?
