How is Danny?? If he doesn't play.?? Hilder should get the nod, great work horse, and experience covered the back up hooker for Danny before. Can defend while Kids having rest! Best option. We should be able to get the points, but Panthers will be desperate.

Has Hilder put in a decent performance for us since 2011? I would rather see a young bloke give us 20 minutes to spell Gids if Bedsy doesn't make it.

Chris Adams looked decent enough to be given another shot in the handful of FG games he's played already.

Hilder has played 197 first grade games of which 97 are for the Knights. I think that says it all, check the stats. 2012 not many games due to injuries. I saw the first trail game this year and he looked sharp also topped the tackle count against Manly. Rather someone with those credits, than bleed a young one at this stage, we need maturity like Bedsy. I am sure Wayne will make the right call either way. The team named is never the one that takes the field thee days.

I'd drop House before I dropped McKinnon

I will say this, house does not challenge the line but he averages 34 tackles per game, so he in my view has a role which is to clean up around the ruck. Smithy and Beau provide the whack in defence whereas Chris is quiet in his efficiency. I think he complements them well. McKinnon would only be dropped by sheer lack of places in a squad which is improving every week. A loss does not mean you are necessarily going backwards. Dragons forwards are in form and have been all year. It was a very physical game on Sunday. I was pleased with our overall effort with the completions the killer in the end.

If that is true surely that means McKinnon to the bench and Neville f**ks off. Surely.

Bedsy out, Waddell in. BJ definitely playing so I'd imagine McKinnon will go to the bench or backrow and someone on the bench will have to be dropped, hopefully Costigan

I totally agree. Good enough to get half a game at least. Would like to see him get a go and show what he has to offer.

I'm not doubting his experience, or his value in the past. I just don't think he has anything to offer this squad. Our defence is no longer in need of a clean up guy. His running game and distribution is poor and his defensive style is often counter productive.

His motor isn't the only reason he makes 1000 tackles per game, he is targeted because he generally gives a quick play the ball away and doesn't hurt in the tackle. This point has been brought up many times in the past.

I don't think the amount of games he has played for us, his form in a trial, or even his tackle count against Manly (remember how steam-rolled we got) provide evidence that he deserves his spot.

The thing that we will always get from Hilder is 100% commitment. He has the heart of a lion but i don't think he has a future here. He could go to a club with a less organised defence and do very well cleaning up after them. I hope he does because his character seems great and he deserves to be playing NRL.

Waddell coming in means there is no need for Nev to fill in at dummy half. Surely it was his 'versatility' that was keeping him alive.......surely.

Well I am sure he has a few more games left in him. Would like to see him have his 200th with the Knights.

Despite what i have said so far, me too. I like the guy and whether he has a future here or not he has been a good servant and would run through a brick wall for his team.

Waltzing is a warrior in every sense of the word. 100% he will not be bitching cos he is not in the side. Professional in every sense of the word but will be a long odds to stay. Parra or Penrith would do well to sign him.
