Good to see Burge$$ has expanded his repertoire including the bear hug with his favourite squirrel grip

Sam Burgess is a 1st class community citizen. An asset to the game. Those are the kinds of players we bring to the club and we get rid of the trouble makers. I wish other clubs had the same high standards. Especially out Bondi way.

That judgment can't be sustained. After the Roosters vs Wigan match in 2014, the Roosters were impressed to the point of pursuing Joe Burgess, while Wigan were disgusted to the point of dropping Charnley from the team. Burgess scord a great try while Charnley made feble attempts to tackle Michael Jennings. Charnley was replaced for several weeks by Dom Manfredi as Wigan's other winger.
